It's been a long and hectic week for us with the move and all that. As we look forward to the weekend and a much earned sleep in I'd like to say thanks to; Stephen, Jan, Jane, Ashley and Sara for all your sterling work in organising and supervising us in the move. You guys rock!

Now with all that said and done I feel the urge for a beer, yet beer o'clock is a long way off yet... so here's some music to help pass the day...

Free download:
Ammp - Let The Sunlight In

New decade, new single. Let The Sunlight In is the first single off Ammp's forthcoming debut album set for release in November.

Let The Sunlight In the band's sixth single has found its way onto The Rock Off The Record  this Month. The Sixth single in a row for Ammp.

To celebrate the new single and coming debut album in November Ammp are setting Let The Sunlight In free for a week from March 18th.

Enjoy.

Release Of The Day:
Fatt Max - Garage Soul

Fatt Max (aka Mark Hill) presents Garage Soul, an album inspired by a love of music, mixed emotions and changing tides.

The first tentative steps along a musical path were taken at age 11 with a guitar in the hand and childhood dreams in the head. Over thirty years later and half a world away from home, the life so far has crystallised into this album.

Three years in the making, the songs draw on varied musical influences that have made such an impact in life, from The Beatles to Zappa, Dylan to Weller, Muddy Waters to Steve Earle.

"The real drive behind this album, the absolute reason for it's very existence stems from a conversation between two brothers. The elder shining a light in the younger's eyes, the younger realising how wrong it was to jettison a musical path. It is a testimony that the songs Walking Man and Fly On The Wall feature this inspiration in person, flowing through the songs with rhythmic spirit - respect and thanks bro." Fat Max
