ARTIST: Joe Dukie & DJ Fitchie
These two talents are the alter egos of Wellingtons DJ MU and vocalist Dallas Tamaira, gaining momentum currently with their big band Fat Freddys drop, who have recently rocked the house in Auckland at The Grey Lynn Park Festival and as a part of the Three Piece Suit mini tour which played to a sell out crowd in Wellington.
Dallas and Mu (Joe Dukie and Fitchie) met 5 years ago and have been collaborating ever since. In 1999 Dallas released his debut EP which was well received by local music media. The four tracks on the Better Than Change EP are a taste of their broad musical spectrum, travelling from soul and blues, to drum 'n bass, house, dance and dub flavours.
