Recently Motorola hosted an exclusive performance by New Zealand's great soul singer Hollie Smith and now C4 is bringing the evening to you – on the 11th of July at 8.00pm, C4 will broadcast this first full live performance of Hollie Smith's platinum album Long Player.
For many years Hollie has been the supporting voice of New Zealand's greatest artists, including Trinity Roots, Fat Freddy's Drop and Fly My Pretties. In 2006, Hollie's Bathe in the River, a song written by Don McGlashan, went to number one in the New Zealand charts and won the 2006 APRA Silver Scroll Award.
Anyone that knows New Zealand music knows that Hollie is teetering on the precipice of greatness, and this incredible half hour show will be an experience that any music lover will not want to miss.
