OdESSA - The Prize - The Tour
02.10.07 - They were the band who managed to lose their first album twice before finally releasing it. In 2006 they were the winner of the Jack Daniel's/Amplifier competitin to win the opening slot at the Big Day Out. They even got to play at the world premiere of the 3rd Lord of the Rings movie. Now OdESSA are taking to the road to celebrate their new album, The Prize (which only had to be recorded once).
With new guitarist Daniel Ryland on board for the recording of The Prize and producer David Long (The Muttonbirds) the group worked up new songs and arrangements and completed tracking in just two and a half days. The Prize is engineered and mixed by Mike Gibson (Hollie Smith & Steriogram) with artwork by the formidably talented Simon Morse and Inject Design.
