Whilst the rest of the Freddys collective are holed up in the studio working on their hotly anticipated second album, Joe Hopepa, Tony Chang and Chopper Reed (aka the country's Fattest horn section) make the trek north for the first in a series of DJ events at Auckland's beloved Khuja.
The Hip Drop Vol I will see the boys handpicking the finest beats and treats from their vinyl collections – a heady mix of Afro, dancehall, disco and funk. Expect dusty rarities alongside floor-filling favourites.
