Batucada Sound Machine are gearing up for their second pilgrimage to Europe. After the success of their previous UK tour in 2007, they have lined up a string of dates through Portugal, Spain, Holland, Germany, Belgium and the UK.
Including festival appearances at The Ollin Kan Festival (Portugal), The Afro Latino Festival (Belgium), Wereldfeest Festival (Holland), and the Mouth of Tyne Festival (UK) - 10-piece crew will be on fire as they play a total of at least 20 dates through June and early July.
The tour will also be supporting the European release of their 2008 debut album Rhythm & Rhyme.
As part of their fundraising efforts the band is hitting the North Island for some massive shows in Auckland, Wellington, Napier and Gisborne.
