Peachy Keen is a unique four-piece Auckland-based band who describe their sound as 'noir lounge pop'. The band consists of bass player, songwriter and singer Kathryn van Beek, pianist Nigel Braddock, jazz drummer Ben Lockwood and jazz/country violinist Tamasin Taylor. Songwriter Kathryn is an acclaimed, award-winning playwright and this has lent a literary, quirky, storytelling bent to the songs which range from satirical to theatrical to sublimely melancholy...
