Unashamed in its eclecticism: teutonic and tender, lyrical and laughable - '3' results from careful planning gone wildly astray, the inevitable shards of glass, metal and body parts carefully scooped up into plastic bags and auctioned off as art.
Don't expect house rhythms, electronically enhanced divas or banal exhortations to 'parteh': SJD has not yet sold out. Listen with open mind and open ears.
Meanwhile, out in the real world, the results have been encouraging. Despite its obvious lack of oonst, this music has been known to induce dancing.
