Para Ti - EP

Miho Wada throws off the shit fight, grabs her flute and alto sax and leaps into this 2011 five track solo EP.

Although solo is slightly misleading. Joining her on Para Ti are a whole bevvy of local musicians including; Alistair Deverick (drums, percussion), Mark Dennison (clarinet, tenor and baritone sax), Tala Niko (percussion), James Donaldson (cello) and Claire MacFarlane (violin).

Recorded by Tui Award Winning Engineer Olly Harmer at The Lab.

Discuss Miho Wada

Current Discussion:

  • I just saw Miho Wada and her band at SXSW here in Austin tonight. Outstanding! As your typical Austinite who loves music I have to say she and the band did not disappoint. Rock solid, full sound for a four player group with a great power trio backbone, fronted by awesome live flute and up front vocals. Started out as a fast jazz jam and morphed into a great independent rock sound that needs to be heard! Check it out!

Thats my two cents. You rock Miho (and band)!

  • Seen Miho Wada & band live in Wellington one of these days. Very refreshing, funny, witty, talented (that's true for both the band and her).

Yes she plays the flute and the sax and, hey, it's great.
