Miho is a virtuouso flute and saxophone plater.... whose talent was spotted by none other than Nigel Kennedy at the Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club in 2003 - which then led her to perform jazz trio concerts with him in London and Malven.
She plays and sings a repertoire of her original songs and improvised music with Japanese flavors accompanied on Marimba, Guitars, Bass and Percussion/Drums, creating a cutting edge, contemporary world music sound.

I just saw Miho Wada and her band at SXSW here in Austin tonight. Outstanding! As your typical Austinite who loves music I have to say she and the band did not disappoint. Rock solid, full sound for a four player group with a great power trio backbone, fronted by awesome live flute and up front vocals. Started out as a fast jazz jam and morphed into a great independent rock sound that needs to be heard! Check it out!
