Material Girl
Material Girl is the first video release from Sugarlicks act Ghost Tones. Self produced, directed, shot and edited the video is also available as part of the critically acclaimed 2017 Pacific Ultrasound compilation.
Lead singer & Haitian native Maya has spent some time in NYC where he was integral in establishing the main stay that is now the Central Park weekend drumming sessions. An accomplished voodoo rhythm drummer, he came to NZ and worked with Karlos Quartez in the house combo, Kaya. In 2001 he hooked up with g-muva to start Ghost Tones. The resultant album is due for release 2005.
